Mr. Shanmugasundaram is a Senior Advocate, practicing at the Madras High Court and other Courts in India for the last 43 years. He is 67 years old (born on 29 th Oct, 1953). He was the State Public Prosecutor at the Madras High Court from 1996 to 2001. also was Member of Parliament (Rajyasabha) from 2002 to 2008. He was elected as President and served from 2015 to 2017 of the Madras Bar Association which is the oldest Bar Association in the country started in the year 1865.
